Congratulations to the Laker High School CKH (Capturing Kids' Hearts) Students of the Month for September, and to teachers Brennan Wissner and David Snider for being chosen as CKH Teachers of the Month for September. The CKH theme for September was empathy. The high school students included Emily Sturm, Bella Popp, Faith Isham, Kacey Diebel, Raiden Bishop, Tim Gasta, Josiah Maurer, Joshua Tobias.
Congratulations to the Laker Volleyball program! Through their fundraising efforts during Dig Pink on Oct. 14, they raised $925.60 for Relay for Life! Great job, ladies! Thank you to all who participated in the fundraisers.

The Homecoming King will be announced at the pep assembly Oct. 3. The Homecoming Queen will be announced during halftime of the varsity game vs. Sandusky Oct. 3.
The parade will be at 5 p.m. Oct. 3 in Pigeon. The Homecoming game will begin at 7 p.m. Oct. 3.
