The second annual Huron County Art Show took place on April 22 at the Verona Hills Golf Club. Pieces from around Huron County schools (Lakers, Bad Axe, Ubly, Caseville, Harbor Beach, North Huron, and the HISD) were on display, and it was a juried show. The judge was Jonathan Garn, Associate Dean of Arts from Delta College. Laker Middle/High School art teacher Ward Donovan submitted 12 pieces from the following Advanced Art students:

Hailey Webber won the Best Ceramic Sculpture award for her piece, "Flesh Frenzy," a functioning teapot-and-teacup set that looks as if it were sculpted from human body parts. Congratulations, Hailey!
