The Laker FFA has had many awesome successes during the past month! Congratulations to:
Nate Radomski for being a state winner for the FFA State Proficiency Awards

The 11 FFA leadership contest teams that qualified for regionals, and the 7 teams that qualified for state competition in March! (see photos for the names)

Congratulations to the Laker 2026 Coming Home Senior Court and Class Representatives! Coming Home is Feb. 20. The Prince will be crowned at the pep assembly, and the Princess will be crowned during halftime of the boys' varsity game.

Despite Feb. 13 being on a Friday, you're in luck! You don't have to worry about dinner because the Senior Strategies class has you covered with a fundraiser dinner starting at 5 p.m. For $10, you’ll enjoy a full meal featuring pulled pork sandwiches, salads, pasta, sodas, water, and baked goods. Proceeds from this fundraiser support the Senior Strategies class as they learn essential real-world skills, such as planning, budgeting, and organizing events. The dinner proceeds will also help fund educational trips for the class. Your support directly contributes to meaningful learning beyond the classroom—thank you for supporting our students!

Congratulations to the Laker Middle School FFA teams for their awesome job at their first District Leadership Contest! Two teams - Kayden Lisowski's team and Maelin Craig's team - qualified for regionals, and Gemma Braun's team placed as the District Alternate. These teams practiced very hard - great job to all these FFA members! Dear Laker Families,
Due to poor road conditions, Laker Schools will be closed tomorrow. The Elementary Christmas Program for 3rd–5th grade will be rescheduled for December 18th at 6 pm. In addition, the Legacy Center will open on a delayed schedule at 10 am. Please take care if you're out on the roads.
