Congratulations to the Laker Elementary Spotlight Students for first quarter. Each classroom teacher selects two students for this award each marking period. The recipients are honored at a special breakfast ceremony attended by parents/guardians. Thank you to Thumb Bank and Trust for sponsoring this program. Calling all students in grades 3rd-8th - check out the Back-to-School Scavenger Hunt on Saturday, Sept. 27, at the Legacy Center. Students will be teamed up based on registrations and should plan to check in by 9:40 a.m. in the LC lobby to receive instructions. The hunt will kick off at 10 a.m. sharp, and teams will have up to 90 minutes to complete the list (may not take the full 90 minutes). Items will be scored, bonus points will be available, and the winning team will earn gift certificates to the Laker concession stand (redeemable at any home game) generously donated by our Laker Boosters! Parents are welcome to utilize the LC facilities while their student(s) participate. No membership required during the event. Click the link to register.
